ANOTHER MAMMAL HANDBOOK ACCOUNT ONLINE
Spix´s Round-eared Bat is the thirty-eighth mammal account in the FAUNA Paraguay Online Handbook of Paraguayan fauna. This complete online handbook will eventually provide detailed coverage of all the vertebrate species inhabiting Paraguay and complement the image galleries, where only a basic introduction to the species is to be found. The FAUNA Paraguay Online Handbook of Paraguayan fauna has the advantage that it can be updated as and when new data is published ensuring that it is constantly up to date. Instructions on how to use the mammal accounts are available on the mammal users page. Mammal accounts are accessible via the links in the species image galleries and the mammal checklist.

CITATION CODES ADDED TO REPTILE GALLERIES

Such codes enable material to be cited in scientific publications, eliminating confusion as to which image or sound is being referred to. These codes have been compiled into a database which is available on request. Eventually all material available in the image galleries on the FAUNA Paraguay site will be added to the same database.
