MATO GROSSO COLILARGO Oligoryzomys mattogrossae
Part of a complex of small mice that as been recently reviewed. This is a typical Oligoryzomys with a long and slender tail that is clearly longer than the head and body. This is a brightly-coloured species, but note the more rufous colouration to the rump area.
