FALSE ORYZOMYS Pseudoryzomys simplex
Known as Rato-do-Mato in Brazil this is a semi-aquatic species distinguished on account of its enlarged, webbed hindfeet and smooth soles. This is a long-tailed, terrestrial species that favours grassy, seasonally-inundated habitats.
