BRUSHLAND TINAMOU Nothoprocta cinerascens CHACO
Confined to the hottest, spiniest, dustiest areas of the Chaco, this common species seems intent on testing his endurance to the limit. He is a solitary species, and often presents identification problems for inexperienced birders being vaguely Nothura-like in appearance. The Brushland is a much bulkier bird though and darker and greyer in colouration.
