RUSSET EURYORYZOMYS Euryoryzomys russatus 
A humid forest mouse with pelage sharply demarcated between the dorsum and ventrum. This species is characterised by prominent tufts of hair at the bases of the claws on digits 2-5, long ears that reach the eye when folded forwards and and a bicoloured tail.
