WHITE-CHEEKED PINTAIL Anas bahamensis
Despite its scientific name (and avicultural name Bahama Pintail)  this species is not restricted to the Bahamas, but has a wide distribution through South America It is a handsome duck and one of the commonest species in the Chaco where it is present all year round. They feed by upending, their pointed tail pointing skyward.
