RUFOUS-WINGED ANTWREN Herpsilochmus rufomarginatus
That song that sounds like a hyperactive Plain Antvireo coming from a canopy tangle is actually this little fellow - the Rufous-winged Antwren. HeŽs common enough, once you learn the call youŽll begin to find him all over the place, but snatching a decent look is another matter altogether. Watch how he pumps his long tail as he sings.
