COENAGRIONIDAE - NARROW-WINGED DAMSELFLIES
Known as Pond Damselflies in the Old World, this family is the most widespread and commonest of the Zygopterans. They are characterised by the long, narrow, colourless wings which have 2 antenodal cross veins and the M3 vein arising closer to the nodulus than the arculus. They are small to medium-sized, delicately built damselfies.
