MUSCOVY DUCK Cairina moschata
You may recognise this warty-faced duck from the local farmyard! The wild form however is black, never white, and is a shy bird, usually found along forested waterways where it freely perches in trees. In flight they show dramatic white flashes along the wings which help to identify them.
