SUBFAMILY ARSENURINAE: GENERA PARADAEMONIA AND TITAEA
Two genera of similar large moths that rest with spread wings, sometimes allowing the forewings to droop lazily over part of the hindwings. They lack obvious discal spots (they are there but very small) and have notable short "tails". Species on this page are only likely to be confused with the tailless Arsenura armida. To distinguish between these two genera note the shape, pattern and quantity of the dark bands crossing the wings.
