STREAK-CAPPED ANTWREN Terenura maculata ATLANTIC FOREST
A tiny little canopy antwren with a super long tail, this bird looks more like an Gnatcatcher than most of its close relatives. Seeing him is exceptionally difficult, but for a headstart listen out for his choppy call, sounding somewhere between a sewing machine and a cash register. You may be forgiven for thinking that the photographs below are appalling - well they are, but try and get a better one!!
