MANY-COLOURED RUSH-TYRANT Tachuris rubrigastra
This gorgeous little creature, known as the "Siete-Colores" ("seven-colours") in Argentina is a rare bird in Paraguay, the south of the country representing the extreme northern limits of the range. He is a skulking bird found in reedbeds, but surprisingly approachable and confiding. Beware of confusion with Doraditos, especially the Crested Doradito - this bird is much more colourful!
