RUFOUS-CAPPED SPINETAIL Synallaxis ruficapilla ATLANTIC FOREST
Spinetails are a group of essentially similar skulkers that produce simple, easily-learnt vocalisations, far more useful in identification than the subtle plumage differences. This is a humid forest species where it is particularly associated with Chusquea bamboo tangles, making it even more difficult to locate! It is the brightest of the Paraguayan Spinetails.
