STRIPED SNOUTED TREE-FROG Scinax squalirostris
A distinctive little Scinax, which is long-snouted even when compared to other members of this genus full of "big-noses". This is an uncommon species of grassy areas that frequently shows prominent lateral striping.

Colour variation in adult Scinax squalirostris
Like many Anurans skin colouration of this species is highly variable. Above are some examples of photochromatism found in this species.
