CINNAMON TANAGER Schistochlamys ruficapillus
A rare cerrado tanager known from only three records in Paraguay, two from Aguara Ñu, Mbaracayú Biosphere Reserve, Departamento Canindeyú in the early 21st Century and the specimen pictured here from near modern day Hernandarias, Departamento Alto Paraná in eastern Paraguay that dates from 20 June 1920.
