GREYISH SALTATOR Saltator coerulescens
Saltators are thickset, tanager-like birds with huge crunching bills. The Greyish Saltator is the most widespread member of the group in Paraguay and is the owner of a sweet singing voice. He is somewhat skulking in behaviour and though he is a frequent inhabitant of urban areas he is easy to overlook.
