CRESTED OROPENDOLA Psarocolius decumanus
Oropendolas are one of the most charismatic groups of South American birds, but unfortunately the range of this handsome species is confined to the Pantanal and northern Orient - generally close to the Paraguay river. Oropendolas are related to caciques and like them are hangnest builders.
