SOUTHERN BRISTLE-TYRANT Pogonotriccus eximius NEAR THREATENED ATLANTIC FOREST
In the Atlantic forests of southern Paraguay the rare Southern Bristle-Tyrant is perhaps easier to see than anywhere else on earth. He´s a miniscule little creature, superficially similar to a lot of other small yellowish forest tyrants, but thanks to that distinctive head pattern you´re not likely to confuse him!
