PAINTED-LEGGED WEEPING FROG Physalaemus aff. gracilis
An undescribed species known from Misiones, Argentina and this specimen collected in Paraguay as part of the FAUNA Paraguay and PROCOSARA supported ECOSARA project represent the first confirmation of the species in the country. Note the very dark underside with the pale central stripe, the large black inguinal spots and the presence of a yellow and a red patch on the groin.
