GREY ELAENIA Myiopagis caniceps
Though he´s called an Elaenia, this forest species is quite distinct from the more commonly-encountered open country Elaenias. In fact behaviourally he can sometimes resemble a tyrannulet as he moves through the canopy. Furthermore Grey Elaenias are sexually dimorphic, females having a greenish mantle which is grey in males.
