SCREAMING COWBIRD Molothrus rufoaxillaris
In keeping with other cowbirds the Screaming is a nest parasite, though, in contrast to the extremely similar Shiny Cowbird who lays its eggs anywhere, the Screaming is a little more focused in its target - namely the Greyish Baywing. Juvenile Screamings bear a remarkable resemblance to both adult and juvenile Baywings, the unlucky parents being scammed into raising somebody else´s baby.
