DWARF DOG-FACED BAT Molossops temminckii
This tiny Molossid is one of the commonest Paraguayan bats. He inhabits dry areas, being most numerous along watercourses. Molossid bats can be identified by the naked tail which extends beyond the uropatagium (the flap of skin that joins the legs to the tail). This is by far the smallest member of its family in Paraguay.
