Liophis sagittifer
The Liophis are a speciose group of slender, non-venomous, mostly green or brown snakes commonly known as Cat Snakes. Liophis sagittifer is an uncommon species with a Chaco distribution in Paraguay typical of dry xerophytic habitats. It is a diurnal snake feeding mostly on lizards, amphibians and rodents.
