SOUTHERN RED BAT Lasiurus blossevillii
Lasiurus are the largest of the Vespertilionidae and can be recognised by the fact that the fur extends at least partially onto the dorsal side of the uropatagium. This species is distinctive in the genus as a result of its rust-red dorsal pelage.
