GREEN KENTROPYX Kentropyx viridistriga
An uncommon Teiid, this species is usually found in semi-open bushy areas near water. There are few records from Paraguay and the species has apparently declined alarmingly in neighbouring Argentina. It can be recognised by the bold white lateral lines and the greenish dorsal colouration combined with a brownish tail.
