GREEN KENTROPYX Kentropyx viridistriga
An uncommon Chaco Teiid, this species is usually found in semi-open bushy areas near water. There are few records from Paraguay and the species has apparently declined alarmingly in neighbouring Argentina. It can be recognised by the bold black lateral line and the greenish dorsal colouration combined with a brownish tail.
