RED AND GREEN TREE-FROG Hypsiboas rubrolineatus
Arguably one of the prettiest of the Paraguayan tree frogs, this colourful little character utters a croaky rattle from mid-levels of tangled grassy marsh vegetation. Note the usual colour change between day and night, so typical of Hylids and most eyecatchingly illustrated by those amazing white staring eyes.
