SWALLOW-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD Eupetomena macroura
Paraguay´s largest and most distinctive hummingbird, this beautiful bird is equipped with a long bill and an even longer tail. In Paraguay it occurs mainly in the Pantanal region as well as the extreme northern Orient and is relatively common, occurring even in urban areas.
