LESSER GRASSFINCH Emberizoides ypiranganus
Look carefully at that bird in the marsh which looks just like a Wedge-tailed Grassfinch but is singing funny! If the face looks dark and the tail looks short then you may have a Lesser Grassfinch on your hands! You´ll need a really good view to see the streaky flanks, but if you are still not sure then try playback, these territorial birds are suckers for a decent recording!
