THRUSH-LIKE WOODCREEPER Dendrocincla turdina ATLANTIC FOREST
A sturdy woodcreeper, superficially Thrush-like in appearance, well at least until you see it scooting up a tree trunk! He is a secretive bird, occurring alone or in pairs at low to medium levels and easily overlooked. Unlike many other woodcreepers he doesn´t probe bark in search of prey, he´s far more likely to fly out and perform sallies to catch airborne prey in the manner of a flycatcher.
