UNDULATED TINAMOU Crypturellus undulatus
A haunting, monotone series of drawn out whistles. For most birdwatchers, that is what recording an Undulated Tinamou on their day list means. A species of dense forest undergrowth, from the semi-humid Chaco to the super-humid Atlantic Forest, this dull-coloured bird goes out of its way to avoid being seen.
