BARE-FACED CURRASOW Crax fasciolata
Currasows are large turkey-like birds invariably confined to humid forest areas. Globally many species are in serious danger of extinction. In Paraguay there is only one species, pictured below. It is a large and handsome bird but unfortunately hard to observe in the wild.
