LARK-LIKE BRUSHRUNNER Coryphistera alaudina
Rarely will you come across a bird with as much charisma as the bizarre Lark-like Brushrunner. An inhabitant of the driest parts of the Chaco, they live in family groups which prance around uttering continuous rattling calls to maintain contact. So varied is the intensity of the rattling they produce that one could almost swear they were conversing with each other.
