AMERICAN PYGMY KINGFISHER Chloroceryle aenea
The smallest of the Paraguayan kingfishers this is a bird of forested waterways where it is rarely seen. For the most part it affords glimpses of blurry wings as it whizzes along densely-vegetated streams and youŽll need good observational skills to see where he lands - he is not a bird that likes to show off!
