CHARAXINAE - LEAFWINGS
Leafwings are robust, fast-fying butterflies that are often attracted to dung and rotting fruit, but do not sip nectar. Though many species are brightly-coloured, the cryptic underwing pattern resembling a dead leaf mean that when perched the butterfly can appear to disappear in front of your eyes. There are almost 400 species worldwide.
