LESSER YELLOW-HEADED VULTURE Cathartes burrovianus
Despite having a naked head coloured with yellow, blue and pink, the Lesser Yellow-headed Vulture still manages to look somewhat ugly! He´s a scavenger, like other vultures his naked head is an adaptation allowing him to stick his face into bloody carcasses. Lesser Yellow-headed inhabits marshy areas, flying low over the ground in the manner of a Harrier Circus sp.
