YELLOW TYRANNULET Capsiempis flaveola
The dense tangles of Chusquea bamboo form a distinct microhabitat within the Atlantic forest that many species exploit. One of these is the Yellow Tyrannulet, but of all the birds that hang around Chusquea this is one of the easiest to see because it doesn´t skulk within it, but forages on and above it. With their canary-like plumage and trusting nature you can´t help but feel endeared towards them.
