FAWN-BREASTED WREN Cantorchilus guarayanus
The northern Chaco is the home of this handsome little wren, with a gorgeous singing voice to boot. Though he can be shy and difficult to observe at times, he isn´t shy about showing his voice off, with his melodic warbles a characteristic feature of the Pantanal region of the country. This species is common where it occurs. Formerly placed in the genus Thryothorus.
