MARSH DEER Blastocerus dichotomus
The largest of the Paraguayan deer, as you might expect the Marsh Deer is an inhabitant of wetland areas and flooded grasslands. It can be recognised by its darkened snout and huge ears. Males possess impressive antlers that are absent in the females.
