SAFFRON-BILLED SPARROW Arremon flavirostris
A handsome bird of thick undergrowth, the Saffron-billed Sparrow usually gives his presence away with his thin, buzzy vocalisations. Boldly-marked, his head pattern recalls the Golden-billed Saltator, a Chaco bird that fortunately never occurs in the same areas.
