LIMPKIN Aramus guarauna
Ibis-like in appearance, the Limpkin belongs to its own family and is considered to be more closely-related to the rails. It is a common bird of marshlands in Paraguay where it specialises on eating the abundant large water snails. Limpkin fly heavily with the neck drooping and legs extended.
