PEARSON´S CHACO MOUSE Andalgalomys pearsoni
A small mouse of grassy areas in the Chaco, the surrounding thorn scrub typically being occupied by the larger Graomys griseoflavus. The tail is longer than the head and body and the dorsum is yellowish-brown with black-tipped hairs. The tail is bicoloured, darker above and has only sparse hairs. The ears are large and the feet small.
