GREEN JUNGLE RUNNER Ameiva ameiva
A large and rapid terrestrial predatory lizard, the Jungle Runner is easily identified by the rows of white spots along his flanks. Only the adults are green, subdaults being mostly brownish above. Though he´s known as a Jungle Runner he is by no means confined to jungly habitat, some of the photos below were taken in urban gardens!
