PARAGUAY BASIN ADENOMERA Adenomera diptyx
A tiny and rather atypical Leptodactylid frog with a maximum length of about 2.5cm. Their small size means they are easily mistaken for juveniles of other frogs, but note the distinctive dorsal pattern. Though easily overlooked, this is a common frog with the unusual habit of laying its eggs on land!
